About Deacon Carl’s family: Both sets of my grandparents were immigrants. My father's family from Sweden and my mother's parents from Italy. My wife Candace and I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Hometown and Education: Born and raised in Delaware. A bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a Master's Degree in Management.
Favorite part of being Catholic: We are a church that Christ blessed with the gift of the Eucharist--his precious body and blood and the gift of reconciliation-the forgiveness of our sins. Living Christ's command to see Him in all those we encounter.
Hobbies: Spending time with my family. Feeding sugar to the grandchildren and sending them home.
Favorite food: Anything on my plate.
Fun fact: I lived in Germany for 5 years and still visit my cousins in Italy. I also serve on the Diocese' Marriage Tribunal and as a Master of Ceremonies for the Bishops.
Dream for Solano: That we are present for one another and serve each other, as well as those in need.
