MEET OUR PASTOR!

Where were you born? Portland, Oregon

Tell us about your family! My parents escaped Vietnam in 1976 and, after staying in a refugee camp, made it to the United States. I am the oldest of five siblings. I have four younger sisters making me the only male. I have seven nieces and nephews that I adore.

What is your favorite part about Solano? My favorite part of Solano is the people. We are a family here at Solano.

What does "Belong" mean to you? The greatest sense of the word "belong" is our belonging to God. Sometimes it is hard to feel that tangibly so, here at Solano, we try our best to help people feel belonging through our loving, welcoming, and non-judgmental community. When they understand they belong here, we can then help them know they belong to God.

What is something people most likely don't know about you? Most people don't know that I am an introvert at heart. My ministry pushes me to be more extroverted but most people don't know that it is difficult for me.

What is your favorite song? Anything from Boys II Men

What is your favorite food? My go-to is a double-double animal style with whole onion and chopped chilies (sp?)

Most embarrassing moment in your life? The most recent moment was using the word "pervy" when I wanted to say "privy."

Random/fun fact about yourself? I love to dance.

What is your vision for Solano? That every Solano member has the courage to evangelize and bring people to God with love.
