This Lent, we’re invited to reflect on the idea of illusions—those things that seem real but are actually just tricks of the eye. We think of Jesus in the desert,
facing temptations that promised so much, yet He saw through them.
We also remember the Israelites, who wandered through the wilderness, often distracted by the past, yet only found true peace when they trusted in what was ahead. As we walk through Lent, we’re reminded that the world often offers us distractions that promise more than they can deliver. This season is a chance to pause, reflect,
and see things more clearly.
