To Qualify
you Must have an adjusted gross income of $60,000 or less, which includes the following

// Pensions
// Self-Employment income
// Capital gains, dividends and interest
Businesses that file a Schedule C are allowed
Other Limitations
// No corporations or partnerships
// Businesses cannot have a loss or more than $25K in expenses
// No part-year residents or out-of-state income
// No rental properties
What to Bring
Please bring copies of the following to your tax appointment
Photo identification for you and your spouse (if applicable)
Social Security card (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) letter for everyone who will be listed on the tax return
Intake Worksheet and Virtual Taxpayer Consent Form (see below)
All tax related documents: W-2s, 1099 s, 1098-T, 1098- E, etc.
IRS of Letter 6475 for EIP (Stimulus) payments
IRS Letter 6419 that provides the total amount of Advance Child Tax Credit payments that were disbursed to you during 2021 (if applicable).
Your health insurance letter Form 1095-A and Form 3895 California Health Insurance Marketplace Statement, if you had insurance through the Marketplace, Covered California or Obamacare)
Your last year tax return
Childcare provider's name, address, Tax ID number, and phone number (if applicable)
If you have a business, provide an expense report spreadsheet or equivalent
A voided check for fast, secure and easy direct deposit
Upon completion of the tax return, if you are filing jointly with your spouse, both parties MUST be present to sign the tax return.

Hours
Solano’s VITA chapter is available for tax preparation on Wednesday evenings, from 6 PM - 9 PM, and on Saturday mornings from 9 AM - 12 PM by appointment only. Our season starts January 29, 2022 and ends April 9, 2022. Post-season (after April 15) will be available with times and hours posted in April.
